Vinegar is a natural cleaning powerhouse that can be used on a variety of surfaces. However, it's not a miracle worker and there are some things you should never clean with vinegar. Here's a list of 10 things you can and can't clean with vinegar:
Can Clean With Vinegar
- Glass and windows: Vinegar is a great way to clean glass and windows without leaving streaks. Just mix equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle and wipe down your windows with a microfiber cloth.
- Coffee maker: Vinegar can help remove mineral buildup from your coffee maker. Just fill the carafe with equal parts vinegar and water, run a brew cycle, and then rinse thoroughly.
- Microwave: To clean a greasy microwave, simply place a bowl of equal parts vinegar and water in the microwave and heat for 2-3 minutes. The steam will help loosen grime, which you can then wipe away with a damp cloth.

- Cutting boards: To disinfect your cutting boards, wipe them down with a solution of vinegar and water.
